Aerobic System Inspections
Below you can find additonal information regarding your recent inspection report, and options for taking action.
- The State of Texas requires most Aerobic Septic Systems to have an active Service Contract, usually consisting of three or more system inspections per year (some jurisdictions may require 4 or more).
- This contract is set in place to ensure the treatment tank and all it's related components are working properly. This protects you, your neighbors, and the environment from untreated wastewater being disposed of onto your lawn and/or getting into the water table.
- If switching to Advanced Aerobic Systems from another company or provider, or if your current contract has expired and you'd like to renew, please contact us or visit the Pricing Section. Please click here for commerical systems, as some are required to have 12 inspections per year and require additional water testing. This can all be done by our maintenance tehnicans.
- If repairs are needed, we can perform those as well. We work very closely with the manufacturer of your system, (not to mention we attend annual wastewater classes & conferences) to provide you with up-to-date techniques, and to ensure our quality-of-work is touched by none. Visit the maintenace section above for more details.

INSECTS AROUND SYSTEM
CHLORINE LEVELS
Tablets: You can find wastewater tablets for sale at most hardware stores. If you use tablets, be sure they are rated for wastewater. Swimming pool tablets are NOT LEGAL for use in ATUs. Estimated tablet usage is normally one tablet per person per month. - More info is available
Liquid Chlorinators: These can hold up to 6 gallons of bleach lasting approximately 4 months. These provide better treatment, require less attention (re-fill them less frequently compared to tablets), and are cheaper to operate over time. - More info is available
HIGH GRASS
HIGH AIR PRESSURE
Can damage the diaphragms of the air pump.
Cascading effect(s): Not treating the effluent causes solids to fill the pump tank, which will clog the water pump and sprinklers. - More info is available

Treatment unit isn't getting enough air, not treating throughly.
Cascading effect(s): You will also experience harmful bacteria being sprayed on your lawn which has the potential of causing serious illness. - More info is available
